This Privacy Policy explains what information lowsadventures2.com (the "Site", "we", "us") collects when you visit, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. It applies to everything on lowsadventures2.com.
The short version: you do not need an account to use this Site, we do not ask you for your name or email address in order to play games, and we do not sell your personal information. We do use analytics and advertising services that set cookies, and those are described in full below.
1. Information We Collect
Information you give us voluntarily
- Comments. Some game pages let you post a comment. If you do, we store the comment text and any display name you type. Please do not include your real full name, address, phone number, school, or email address in a comment.
- Game ratings. If you rate a game, we store the rating value.
- Emails you send us. If you contact us, we keep your message and email address so we can reply.
You are never required to provide any of this to play a game. Every game on the Site is fully playable without submitting anything.
Information collected automatically
Like almost all websites, our servers and the third-party services we use automatically receive certain technical information when you load a page:
- IP address (used for security, abuse prevention, and approximate country-level location)
- Browser type and version, operating system, and device type
- Pages viewed, time spent on them, and the referring page or search that brought you here
- Date and time of your visit
2. Cookies and Similar Technologies
Cookies are small text files stored by your browser. We and our partners use them for three purposes:
- Essential cookies — remember your preferences, such as light or dark theme.
- Analytics cookies — help us understand which games are popular and where pages are slow.
- Advertising cookies — set by Google and its partners to serve and measure ads.
You can delete or block cookies at any time in your browser settings. Blocking essential cookies may reset your preferences on each visit, but games will still work.
3. Advertising — Google AdSense
This Site is free to use and is funded by advertising. We use Google AdSense to display ads.
- Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this Site or other websites.
- Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this Site and/or other sites on the Internet.
- You may opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings.
- You can opt out of third-party vendor cookies more broadly at aboutads.info/choices or youronlinechoices.com.
- Google's own privacy practices are described at How Google uses information from sites that use its services.
We do not control which specific ads are shown and we do not receive your personal information from advertisers. Opting out of personalised ads does not remove ads — it means the ads you see are less relevant to you.
4. Analytics — Google Analytics
We use Google Analytics to measure traffic and understand how the Site is used. Google Analytics sets cookies and collects information such as pages viewed, session duration, approximate location, and device type. We use this only in aggregate to improve the Site. You can prevent Google Analytics from collecting your data by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
5. Embedded Games and Third-Party Content
Games on this Site are embedded from third-party hosts using iframes, and some pages embed YouTube videos. When such content loads, the third-party provider may set its own cookies and receive your IP address and browser information. These providers operate under their own privacy policies, which we do not control. If you would rather not load third-party embeds, most browsers allow you to block third-party cookies and iframes.
6. Children's Privacy
We know that many of our visitors are children — the Low's Adventure games were originally made for a young audience. We take that seriously.
- We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
- We do not require an account, an email address, or a real name to play any game.
- Comments are moderated, and we remove any comment that contains personal information about a child.
- If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has submitted personal information to us, email privacy@lowsadventures2.com and we will delete it promptly.
Parents: if you would like your child to browse without personalised advertising, you can turn off ad personalisation in Google Ads Settings on the device they use.
7. How We Use Information
We use the information described above only to:
- Operate the Site and keep games loading correctly
- Display and moderate comments and ratings
- Understand which games and guides are useful so we can improve them
- Detect and prevent spam, abuse, and security incidents
- Show advertising that keeps the Site free
- Reply to messages you send us
8. Sharing of Information
We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with the service providers needed to run the Site: Google (AdSense and Analytics), our hosting and database providers, and the third-party game and video hosts whose content is embedded on our pages. We may also disclose information where required by law or to protect our legal rights.
9. Data Retention
Comments and ratings are retained while the associated game page exists, unless you ask us to remove them. Analytics data is retained according to Google Analytics' standard retention settings. Support emails are kept only as long as needed to resolve your enquiry.
10. Your Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, to object to or restrict its processing, and to withdraw consent. Visitors in the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom have these rights under the GDPR; residents of California have comparable rights under the CCPA, including the right not to be discriminated against for exercising them.
To exercise any of these rights, email privacy@lowsadventures2.com. We will respond within 30 days. Because we do not require accounts, we may ask for details that help us locate the data in question, such as the page and approximate date of a comment.
11. Security
The Site is served over HTTPS, and we take reasonable technical measures to protect the limited data we hold. No method of transmission or storage over the Internet is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
12. International Visitors
The Site is accessible worldwide, and the service providers we use may process and store data in countries other than your own, including the United States. By using the Site, you understand that your information may be transferred to and processed in those countries.
13. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as the Site changes or as legal requirements evolve. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review it periodically.
